The F word
Right now, some of my favorite community bankers are not only shoring up their year-end strategies, finalizing budgets for 2025 and teeing up their project list for next year, they’re also — unexpectedly and frustratingly — preparing to move their website hosting service.
Because of the F word.
(Our little team at CBMC has no desire to wind up on the wrong side of a cease-and-desist from one of the most powerful core service providers generic companies in America, so while we all know who we’re talking about, we won’t be naming any names.)
The F word is familiar to all of us in community banking. It often strikes at the worst time.
It happens when you’re off on Veterans Day and a routine update goes wrong. Or on a random Monday morning, just to help your week start off on the right note.
This time, it’s happening to a lot of great bankers who need to find a solution to keep their most precious digital real estate up and running beyond Q1 of 2025.
We feel for you, bankers.
And we’re here for you. In fact, we’re uniquely experienced to help you get beyond this thanks to the newest addition to our team, Wade.
Wade is a 20-year community banker who has worked at every level of IT, including management of hosting and DNS responsibilities. Wade’s last stop was IT director for a $700 million community bank, where he helped manage the movement of web hosting and DNS services as recently as fall 2023.
So, while we can’t undo your F word problem, we can help you put it behind you and land in a good spot, by Q2 of 2025.
Give Wade a shout to see how he can help.
